Once the tissue has been disaggregated in the Medicons, the cell suspension can be filtered using a single-use filter cloth to separate the cells and nuclei.

Filcons :
• Porous membrane with an effective surface area of 80 mm² for filtering large quantities of suspended cells
• Funnel section made of microporous polyethylene, designed to allow the biological material to pass through while trapping waste particles smaller than 1.5 µm
• Before use, moisten the Filcons membrane filter with the cell or nucleus suspension medium
• Syringe connections can be used for either suction or compression (maximum pressure is 25 psi (1.8 bar))
• Use the syringe as a reservoir without applying pressure to the plunger, to allow the sample to infiltrate
• For quantities of less than 5 ml, use the Filcons cup filter
• Fit 5 ml tubes

Filcons-Max:
